Great initiative by Tata for encouraging voting – JaagoRe.com
I think a lot of people have notice the advertising of JaagoRe.com. I just wanted to see how good it served the purpose. I should say that all the IT professional who think they dont have time to vote or do not have Voter Cards cos they were not at home when the electoral survey was made, should stop making excuses. I registered on the domain and it was one of the simplest registration I have done.
For people who have not done this, this is all that you need to do.
1. Visit JaagoRe.com
2. Click on Register or Sign up
3. Fill in all the details(If you dont know what constituency you come under, there is a map link to help you)
4. Once the registration is complete, you will be given a form and you need to printout and and submit to the address give there for your constituency.
It wouldnt get simpler than this. I think people should stop being lazy and stop complaining about the Govt not doing anything. Its all in your control now.
I would like to make a clarification here. I am not the one who would be issuing your Voter ID card. Please go to the website jaagore.com and follows the instructions that I have specified. In fact no individual can issue a voter ID except the Govt. The general elections are approaching and I would highly recommend any one who hasnt done it to do it immediately. The last day is March 15th.

I have residing above address from past 7 years, recently I have registered with Jaagore.com a compaign from tata tea for voter registration, when I went to Electoral office the officer said that first fill this form in hindi and for voter registration only electricity bill, water bill or ration card is valid, not your rental agreement or bank statement or anything else. I have attached my rental agreement and a birth certificate is that true or not
